===== Biography =====

S4E6 - When the Matchmaker Mafia (Benedetta, Miss Em, Molly, Gitta) learns that Rose has been stepping on their turf by doing matchmaking for the Melamids (who are Jews, and thus Gitta’s domain), they invite her out to Brighton Beach under the guise of a luncheon for women who own small businesses. When she gets there, they reveal their true intentions, and openly threaten violence against Rose if she does not stop.


S4E8 - Benedetta opens a letter from Rose, who is refusing to kowtow to the Matchmaker Mafia’s threats.


S5E3 - Susie visits Benedetta in jail. They are both confused initially, Benedetta was expecting somebody taller, and Susie was apparently not made aware of exactly what Nicky and Frank were going to do or who they were going to do it to. Eventually, however, Susie gathers from Benedetta that Nicky and Frank sent the cops after all of the Matchmaker Mafia. She learns that Benedetta was arrested, Molly died of a heart attack, Gitta fled the country, and Miss Em's whereabouts are currently unknown. When Susie learns that they were responsible for the Tearoom fire, all of her sympathy evaporate. She then begins the process of negotiating new matchmaking territories on Rose's behalf.
