Sal

Stage manager of the arthritis telethon.

S2E9 - Sal greets Midge and Susie and gives them their instructions on the day before the telethon.

S2E9 - Sal directs the show as it goes. Right before Shy goes on, he positions Midge in the phone bank, but Susie is distressed to find that she is not actually on camera. She confronts Sal about it, but it becomes clear that this was orchestrated by Sophie and there’s nothing he can do. He also lets her know that Midge has been bumped to the very end. When Midge does go on, he gives a few directions to her from off-camera.

SAL: We do military time. 2150 is 9:50 at night. If you get confused, just add the number 12 to whatever time it is.
