Biography
S5E4 - Susie vacillates between awe and bewilderment as she watches the inaugural performance of Private Waste Management: A Musical Journey in Three Acts. Mid-way through the play, Tessie appears atop a massive pile of garbage, and sings a song about how the city has gone downhill ever since they were forsaken by Private Waste Management. She is accompanied by four backup singers, also garbed as garbage girls. The song is interrupted when an old man from earlier in the play runs out in tears, cradling the dead body of the little boy from before. He says that his son was killed by garbage, and it's all his fault for sending Private Waste Management away. Midge agrees with him, and delivers the final batch of exposition before the final number, in which the entire cast (including the four garbage girls) emerge and sing a bittersweet farewell, then take their final bow.
S5E4 - The ensemble cast of Private Waste Management: A Musical Journey in Three Acts do their best to do the second and final performance of the show exactly the same as the first, despite the fact that Midge is grumpy and deliberately trying to ruin it.
