Village Voice employee.

S4E4 - At the Village Voice, Isobel approaches Abe at his typewriter and informs him that someone has been waiting for him in the lobby for the past half-hour. It is Asher, come to deal with the FBI arson investigation.

S4E8 - Imogene comes to the Village Voice offices to help Abe with his typing. She clashes with Isobel, who used to do this, and sits in the background as Abe and Gabe try to secure an obituary for Moishe from the New York Times (Isobel gets them on the phone for Gabe),.

S4E8 - When a call comes from the hospital late at night to the Village Voice offices, Isobel rouses Abe to tell him and Abe rouses Imogene to send her home.

ISOBEL: Excuse me, Abe?
ABE: Yeah.
ISOBEL: There's a guy here. He's been sitting in the hallway for half an hour. We finally asked, and he said he was a friend of yours.
ABE: Of mine?
ISOBEL: Then he said, “Check that. Abe and I used to be friends, because a friend doesn't stab a friend in the back with a rusty knife dipped in arsenic, then wrap a guitar string…”
ABE: I got it. Thank you, Isobel.

ISOBEL: Excuse me. Why are you here?
IMOGENE: Oh, I'm Abe's personal part-time secretary. I do his typing. You?
ISOBEL: I work here.
IMOGENE: Doing what?
ISOBEL: Many things. Right now, I'm very busy filing.
IMOGENE: I see the stack.
ISOBEL: I used to type for Abe, but now he has you.
IMOGENE: He does.
ISOBEL: Part-time.
IMOGENE: For now.
ISOBEL: Full-time.

ISOBEL: Abe! Abe!
ABE: Hmm?
ISOBEL: I didn't know you were still here. Someone called a while ago, said you needed to get to the hospital immediately.
ABE: What? Who?
ISOBEL: I don't know. I…
ABE: He's dead. Is he dead? Oh, my God.
ISOBEL: I don't know. They just said to hurry.
