Standup comedian.

S2E2 - Midge is repeatedly bumped down the list in her first gig at the 15th Street Comedy Club by a cabal of male comedians. Just when she thinks she is finally about to go on, Noah Birnbaum introduces a surprise appearance by Jackie Vernon, who goes on and drones for ages.

JACKIE: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you. Tonight I'd like to talk about rejections. My personal rejections brought on a weight problem. Every time a girl would refuse me a date, I'd eat a piece of Bavarian cream pie. One day I ate 238 pieces of Bavarian cream pie.
