S5E6 - (flashforward) In 1990, The Friars Club hosts the Testi-Roastial of Susie Myerson. Ahead of the event, the kitchen staff works on preparing the food for the event. The first and second assistant cooks excitedly speculate with the head chef about who the event will be for, and are rather disappointed when they look at the flier and discover that the event is for some woman they’ve never heard of.

S5E6 - (flashforward) Later that evening, Susie arrives an hour late to the event and demands food. Heather goes to the kitchen to get it, but the head chef explains that they are already closing down. Heather is unyielding, and eventually the chef relents. The first and second assistant cooks watch the argument, rapt.

S5E6 - (flashforward) Towards the end of the event, when it is time for Susie to speak, she disappears from the hall and hangs out in the kitchen smoking a joint, watching the first and second assistant cooks dancing to a song by the B-52’s. Susie excitedly tells the cooks that she bowls with the gals from the B-52’s, and that their dancing is so impressive that she’ll get them into their next video. Heather arrives and drags Susie away, and Susie passes the joint to the head chef, who is visibly bemused.

SECOND ASSISTANT COOK: (in Spanish): Robin Williams, too. Like the Tasmanian Devil. Who the hell is this?
