S5E9 - (flashforward) In 2005, Midge gathers Delia and her other key staff in her office to go over her timetable for the next week. Midge notices that there is nothing scheduled for Tuesday, and scorns Delia for the oversight. The other staffers scribble notes. As the meeting ends, they all trail behind Midge down the grand staircase as Franklin tries and fails to sell her on the virtues of cell phones.

FRANKLIN: The building says there's nothing they can do about the noise.
MIDGE: They've been jumping around for hours down there. It's like Ruby Keeler moved in.
FRANKLIN: I'll knock on the door and see what's up.

FRANKLIN: You press here, bring up the menu, scroll over to the envelope icon, click, then write your message.
MIDGE: Why don't I just call them?
FRANKLIN: Sometimes you want to text.
MIDGE: When?
FRANKLIN: When you're late.
MIDGE: I can call when I'm late.
FRANKLIN: It's just a fun thing your phone can do. Like take pictures.
MIDGE: My camera takes pictures.
FRANKLIN: What if you don't have your camera?
MIDGE: I commit it to memory.
FRANKLIN: It also takes videos.
MIDGE: Does it have the nuclear codes? Can I bomb somebody?
FRANKLIN: No, you can't.
MIDGE: What about aliens? Can I communicate with aliens?
FRANKLIN: Not with the phone. Can I just show you how to write a message?
MIDGE: You can certainly try.
FRANKLIN: So you scroll down to a number and then you click on that number until it goes to the letter you want and then…
MIDGE: Enjoy the phone, Franklin!
