Trivia
- The credit song for Season 1, Episode 1 was Dave Edmunds' cover of Elvis Costello's Girls Talk. For the series finale, the closing credits song is Tegan and Sara's cover of the same song, which was produced specifically for the show.
- Midge and Susie watching Jeopardy! (1984) together is a tribute to Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner, who watched Jeopardy together every night. (Source: IMDb)
- The Gordon Ford show has four minutes remaining (or 3:56 according to Shirley), but from the time they return from the commercial to the end of Midge's set in 7 minutes, 20 seconds, and to when Gordon says “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, 9 minutes. (Source: IMDb)
- The flashforward of Lenny Bruce doing a gig in San Francisco at the beginning of the episode is a faithful recreation of Lenny's second last gig ever (the last one to be recorded - watch it here), which occurred in August 1965. The one part of the scene which is not from the San Francisco gig is Lenny's folk dance demonstration, which was taken from an earlier interview he did (watch it here).
- The Jeopardy! episode featured in the closing scene of the episode is the May 2005 Ultimate Tournament of Champions Round 4, game 3 - featuring Brad Rutter, Chris Miller, and John Cuthbertson. Rutter shared his thoughts on his Maisel cameo with Vulture shortly after the finale aired (link).
Quotes & Dialogue
MIDGE: Susie, I have four more minutes left. Four minutes.
SUSIE: Okay.
MIDGE: Four minutes. You hearing me?
SUSIE: Yes. Four minutes.
MIDGE: Four minutes.
SUSIE: Four minutes. You've got four minutes.
MIDGE: Four.
SUSIE: I am gonna punch you in the nose. I don't care how it will look on TV.

GORDON: Folks, I don't actually think you got a proper introduction to this very, very funny lady here. And I am gonna remedy that right now. Ladies and gentlemen, making her first - but definitely not last - appearance on The Gordon Ford Show, may I present the magnificent… the magical… The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
