• The episode opens with a shot-for-shot remake of the title sequence from the 1962 film adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird (accompanied by the actual score from the film), as a way of establishing the season's time-jump to the summer of 1959. It's also part of a punchline involving Abe's meticulously crafted scale models of the family's suitcases and U-Haul trailer. (Source: IMDb)

• The Steiner Resort scenes were filmed at the Scott's Oquaga Lake Resort in Deposit, NY., a family owned resort since 1865. The lobby, dance hall, Maisels' resort house and boat dock are all part of the original resort. (Source: IMDb)

• The episode won 3 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Music Supervision, Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series and Outstanding Contemporary Costumes. (Source: IMDb)
